If you are trying to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle and looking for ideas about how to change the way you live, you will find a lot of ideas and inspiration from No Impact Man, a blog about a family trying "...to live in the heart of New York City while causing no net environmental impact."
I've been reading No Impact Man for a while and I'm not at all surprised to learn that the blog has been named one of the world's top 15 environmental websites, by Time Magazine. It's a well-deserved honour.

BigGreePurse: Save Time, Shift Money, Make a Difference
BigGreenPurse is a site that suggests ways for American women to shop 'green'. The links on the site are for American products of course, but the idea to empower women by suggesting they spend their money on green products, is certainly something for everyone - everywhere - to aspire to.
The founder of the Big Green Purse site, Diane MacEachern, "is passionate about empowering women to use their marketplace clout to protect the environment."
Diane also has a blog, Diane's Big Green Purse, with the tagline, "Making our money matter for a greener, cleaner, safer world."
When I explored the BigGreenPurse site, I discovered they also have a link to a sister site called The World Women Want which "helps women, their children and their families live healthier, safer, more rewarding lives." It's a very good site too - although it also links to just American sites.

How "The Yellow House" became a 'green' eco-house
The Yellow House is about how George Marshall and his wife, Annie, set about turning a house into an eco-house:
"This is the story of how we took a very ordinary English terrace 1930s house and set out on a limited budget to turn it into our dream eco-house: comfortable, clean, healthy, beautiful and a model for low impact living."
The site is set up so you can easily explore the house and the eco-features room by room and there are also tips and ideas provided that anyone can try.

Eco-Chick: a 'green' blog written by women
Eco-Chick is a fun and informative blog written by a group of women about green issues.
This explanation is from their first post (October 2005):
Eco-chick is design and style’s eco-home on the web. We are dedicated to finding the stuff that makes life fun and has a minimum impact on our mother Earth. While we have a woman’s perspective, all are welcome to contribute.
