Find a Tearoom

If you love tea as much as I do, you will know why I am so pleased to find a website called Find a Tearoom. Although it's always a joy to stumble upon a tearoom when out and about, Find a Tearoom will help you plan ahead by locating a tearoom using the search facility on the website. You can search by the name of the tearoom or by the the county or simply by the region (England, Scotland, Wales).

Tea and Cake

Tea and Cake is a lovely site "dedicated to the little ritual that is tea and cake."

The comprehensive site really offers everything you need to know about this British tradition, including ideas for tea parties, a selection of recipes, a listing of tea and cake places (in England) and even a fun quiz to see which cake you are.

The friendly creators of the site, Janine and Sam, welcome ideas for the development and improvement of teaandcake.co.uk so if you have recipes, tea shop/tea-rooms recommendations, or a photo to add to the teapot or mug gallery, you are invited to send them in and they may add your submission to their site and they will credit you on the site to thank you.

Tea and biscuits

NiceCupofTeaAndASitDown is a fun and informative site about tea, biscuits (and cake). It's "the premier web site for tea drinkers who are keen on sitting down and biscuits."

I particularly enjoy the "Biscuit of the Week" feature, where a biscuit is reviewed in great detail. There is a useful archive too.
